Alexander McCall graduated from the University of Coventry in 2000. Working with various specialist physiotherapists’ he spent the first 3 years of his career in the NHS building up his clinical experience and practice.

Following this he went to Birmingham University to undertake a Masters Degree in specialist manipulation and advanced physiotherapy practice. With completion of this came membership to a prestigious sub group of physiotherapists known as the MACP (manipulation society of chartered physiotherapists), of which there are just a few hundred practicing in the country.

Using these specialist skills Alexander has developed his practice into sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions. Success as a sports injuries specialist can be seen in his ongoing work with various representative England Rugby squads. He has also worked with the premiership rugby team ‘Leicester tigers’ and was fortunate to have spent significant amounts of time working with the 2006-2007 squad that saw success in the premiership and EDF-Powergen cup.

Alexander’s success as a musculo-skeletal expert can be seen in his part time role as an extended scope practitioner at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. This post allows him to carry out advanced orthopaedic assessment including MRI scans of knees, shoulders and sports injuries. He has the skills and ability to work directly with orthopaedic surgeons in the successful treatment and management of these areas.
